WOD stands for workout of the day. The workouts are named after fallen soldiers or first responders. They are designed to recognize them and to push you a little harder. You only need to give it all you have for a short amount of time. These heroes gave it all. Do your best today and push yourself!

Matthew Gene “Axe” Axelson  (June 25, 1976 – June 28, 2005) was a United States Navy Seal who was killed in the War in Afghanistan. He was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross for his actions during Operation Red Wings, in which he was killed. He was one of the Navy SEALS in the movie Lone Survivor.

*Hello Darlings = lay on your back with legs at 6 inches highoff the deck. Spread legs apart and then back together. That is one rep.

Advanced Athletes can scale up and double reps and use a weight vest for exercises.

*kick up/kick out is like it is a sounds. Like a Karate Kick.
