Thanks for all of your support. We are excited to announce that our new website is live! We are still working on improving a few things and should have everything updated this week! We want this to be a great site for you and your family and friends!
We have a news section, nutrition section, workout of the day section, an at home or travel workout and a charity section. We have included an at home/travel workout for you when you go out of town and for your family and friends that do not feel they are ready to step into a CrossFit gym. We will also be adding recipes and nutrition advice soon. We have the Workout of the Day on our site daily so please check the site to see what we are doing each day! Please check it all out and let us know what you think!

Bacho Vega is currently running the Puerto Rico 150+ Endurance Run. This is his second year participating in this event! Last year it was 183 miles! Bacho is an amazing person!

We are only three weeks away from the CrossFit Open! Mark your Calendars to join us Thursday February 25th at 5:00pm. We will make it an excuse for all of us to get together and make it a party each week. Some will be doing the workout when they announce that night. You will have until Monday morning to complete the workout. For those that are new to CrossFit this is a very fun time in the CrossFit world! Even if you are not competitive it is still worth signing up and see how you place in the world. It is fun to compare your results each year.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text delay=”0″]Anybody 14 years or older can sign up. There are different scaled workouts for the Teens. There are RX Workouts and Scaled workouts for the adults 18 and older. The preparation you are doing now will help you to do great! Keep pushing yourself every time you come to class and make sure you are consistently coming to class. SEALFIT 20X in the works!
We are working towards hosting a SEALFIT 20X at CrossFit Preferred. I need to know who has interest. Please email me @ email@example.com to let me know if you have any interest in participating. These events are life changing and will help you to become a better person and a better teammate.
Here is a great video from my friend David Powell’s Lineman school in Georgia. He has a school that trains people to install power lines and telephone poles. They usually finish each training season with a SEALFIT 20x. A majority of his classes participate. Enjoy this high quality video they put together!

CrossFit Endurance Training:
We are only three weeks away from the Phoenix Marathon and Half Marathon! Congratulations to all those that have experimented with the CrossFit Endurance plan we have been following! It is a lot less volume than we are used to for training for a marathon but I am excited to see how it works out for all of us. We focus on running drills and focusing on technique. Here is one of the drills we will be focusing on this week. A lot of us when we run let our arms and shoulders get to tight and we do not relax when we run. We also let our arms cross rotate. This drill helps you work on keeping your core tight and keeping your arms from going side to side. This is one of many drills we focus on that will make you a more efficient runner.
