113. Max Panas – March 2022 Athlete of the Month

Max has been an athlete at CrossFit Preferred since December of 2019. He is striving to be the best he can be in all areas of his life from being a husband, a Dad, athlete and business owner!

He has found training at CrossFit Preferred has helped him to be prepared for many areas of his life and having the structure and coaching in the workouts is helping him to get in great shape and continually improve!

Barbell Saves Project Fundraiser

We are so excited to be working with Jon Moreno from The Barbell Saves Project to host a fundraiser. The Barbell Saves Project provides fitness and nutrition for those in recovery. This 6 week Fundraiser raises money to provide free nutrition and CrossFit classes for anyone who is in recovery. To encourage you to raise money we have some incentives for you. 

  • Top 20 fundraisers will receive free CrossFit shoes
  • Top 5 fundraisers will receive free shoes plus a name brand backpack full of CrossFit Swag.

Here are the steps to follow.

  • Create your profile page by scanning the QR code on the posters posted at the gym or click the link in our bio.
  • Share your profile page link with all your friends and family.

Athletes Corner

Congratulations to everyone that Committed to the CrossFit Open/Friday Night Lights! It was a great time and so fun to push each other and work together as teams! Great work everyone!

Congratulations to the Friday Night Lights Team “Jacked Black” for winning the CFP Friday Night Lights competition!

Thanks to everyone that came out to the Spring CFP Spring Potluck! We We had a great time hanging out, eating great food and celebrating the CrossFit Open/Friday Night Lights!

Phil and Kimberly did a 5 day 4 night hike in the Grand Canyon ! They did 37 miles! They saw big horn sheep, a beautiful water fall and lots of snow!

Congratulations to Maria Spitzer and Ryan Smart for completing a Marathon Row (26.2 Miles/42,195 Meters March 24th!! Way to get it done! Join Ryan for his many different challenges in 2022!

Congratulations to Tiersa, Tyrel and Seth for qualifying for the CrossFit Quarterfinals! They completed 4 very tough workouts and did great!

As most of our morning crew has seen we have a very cute gym dog his name is Rex! Welcome Rex !
