Andrew Augustyniak grew up in Tempe, Arizona. There, he attended Marcos de Niza high school and was a three sport athlete (golf, basketball, baseball). He was a 2-Time All-State golfer and went on to play for Mesa Community College. While at Mesa Community College, he became Region Champion and First-Team All-American Honors. After a successful academic and athletic career at Mesa, Andrew had the chose to accept a scholarship to play for the University of Nevada. He recorded multiple top finishes and also Western Athletic Conference All-Academic honors for his play on and off the golf course. After graduating with a degree in Business Management, he returned to Arizona and turned professional in golf. So far, he has recorded 6 Top-10 finishes in mini-tour events.
While at Nevada, Andrew began to develop a side passion. CrossFit was rapidly growing at the University recreational center. He slowly began trying different CrossFit type workouts and began to love the constantly varied training. This past December, Andrew received his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer™ Certification. He hopes to compete in the CrossFit games within the next five years while moving along in his golf career.
